June 13 2023 - Fritz Terbuyken, member of the Executive Board of the international retail cooperation ANWR GROUP has asked the Supervisory Board to cancel his contract, which is still running, and will leave the company after 15 years on the Executive Board. On 19 June 2023, Terbuyken will hand over his duties to his colleague on the Executive Board, Tobias Eichmeier, and will remain available to the group of companies in an advisory capacity until the end of the year.

"These successful fifteen years at ANWR GROUP have been a valuable, entrepreneurially invigorating time in every respect," confirms Fritz Terbuyken. A member of the Executive Board since 2008, the trade expert has played a significant role in the development of the ANWR GROUP associations. Under his leadership, the wholesale business with global shoe and sports brands was further developed. The number of central settlement agreements was also expanded to around 2,500 active industry partnerships. Terbuyken also stands like no other for the implementation of the Ordercenter O1, which was built in 2014 and is now one of the most important order centres for the footwear, sports and leather goods industry in Europe.

With Tobias Eichmeier, we were already able to gain a competent and experienced trade manager for our Executive Board in November last year, who will now take over Fritz Terbuyken's tasks."
